Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It does inform your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
